Governance
The Eucomed Statutes establish the basic rules of the association. They have been revised and approved by the Eucomed General Assembly held on 8 October 2009.
Eucomed is set up as a non-profit making international association under the Belgian law of 2nd May 2002 relating to non-profit organisations, international non-profit organisations and foundations. The Association's primary objective is to represent the interests of European manufacturers and distributors of medical devices and their accessories, certain in-vitro diagnostic devices and active capital medical equipment, and promote of innovative high quality healthcare technology for the benefit of the patient.
