Brussels, 23 June 2008 – Eucomed, the European Medical Technology Industry Association, overhauls its website www.eucomed.org to make it more attractive, more transparant and easier to navigate.
Today, Eucomed launches a new version of its website. The revised version not only sports a new look, but also prominent navigational clues and an improved structure. “During the planning stages of the website overhaul, a lot of attention went into improving the overall user experience. With the new website, I think we have achieved just that”, says Eucomed Chief Executive John Wilkinson.
By offering visual clues such as breadcrumbs and mouse rollovers, the new website will enable visitors to find information more easily. Further changes include an improved navigation menu, facilities for visually impaired visitors and improved search functionality. The new layout has been tested with latest versions of Firefox and Internet Explorer on PC and Linux. The minimum required screen resolution is now 1024 x 768 pixels.
Eucomed is the Voice of the medical technology industry in Europe. Eucomed represents directly and indirectly 4500 designers, manufacturers and suppliers of medical technology used in the diagnosis, prevention, treatment and amelioration of disease and disability.
